About Jessica

Jessica brings 17 years of experience in Assistive Technology and accessibility to her role at APTAT. Before moving to joining the team in Alabama, she worked as the AT Specialist for Ysleta ISD in West Texas, where she championed inclusive practices, supported Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and ensured students had access to the tools they needed to succeed.

She went on to serve as Director of Community Programs at Knowbility, where she developed training events to help content creators and web developers learn the ins and outs of digital accessibility.

At APTAT, Jessica helps individuals across Alabama discover and use Assistive Technology that supports learning, working, and daily life.

In Jessica’s own words

I‘ve always believed in the power of access. Whether it’s making learning more inclusive or helping someone find the right tool to live more independently, I’m passionate about breaking down barriers and working with others to build a more accessible world.”
