This is a two-part course showcasing innovative tools that expand communication access for individuals with speech disabilities or complex communication needs. The first session introduces VoiceITT, a groundbreaking app that recognizes non-standard speech caused by conditions such as cerebral palsy, stroke, ALS, Parkinson’s disease, or traumatic brain injury—empowering users to communicate with others and control smart devices. The second session, Multiple Access Methods with Control Bionics, explores diverse ways people can access Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, highlighting flexible tools and strategies that make AAC more effective and personalized. Together, these webinars provide practical insights into how technology enhances independence, inclusion, and quality of life.
